Pieter van
Hoogdalem has a university degree in International Relations and a BA Cultural
Management. Before the establishment of PVH Music Pieter worked as a music
producer and programme maker for dutch national radio & television, as an
agent/promoter for an established artist agency and as a freelance (recording) producer.
Over the last years Pieter has
worked with Naked City, Mike Keneally, 16 Horse Power, Dave Holland, John
Scofield, Toots Thielemans, Anton Goudsmit, Zapp String Quartet and many others.
Orchestra productions: Metropole Orchestra with Vernon Reid, Mike Keneally,
George Duke, Terry Bozzio. Festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival, Lowlands,
Eurosonic/ Noorderslag and Holland Festival.
Tourmanagement throughout Europe and the USA.
As a guitarist and vocalist Pieter has played in several showbands/ cover acts and worked as a session
musician. His first solo effort (the album Sober by Stümper) was released in
2003. Currently Pieter is working on new material as Pedro. A new album
featuring many guest musicians is expected soon.
